World MissionsThe Missions Committe prepares the mission's budget and administers support for our missionaries around the world, communicates regularly with them, sponsors our annual Mission's Conference, encourages summer missions trips and generally promotes World Missions throughout the year.

Our goal is to help fulfill the great commission directed in Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8.  We define the term "Missions" as a foreign or overseas cross-cultural ministry, or a ministry to a sub-culture in North America, which has as it's objective the planting of churches and aiding their growth and development, as well as related ministries that support these objectives.  Faith Bible Church currently supports almost 50 missionaries around the world.

The primary thrust of the FBC Missions Program is to take the Gospel to unreached peoples, i.e. where there is no viable indigenous community of believeing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize their own people without outside (cross-cultural) assistance.  Our passion is to reach the nations with the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ by grace through faith.

An Evening with Missionary Sharon Mihill - April 11th, 2010

Sharon Mihill is a missionary with New Tribes Missions.  The main focus of New Tribes Mission is to go into the unreached areas of the area, unreached meaning that there is little or no access to the Gospel.  Sharon works in a tribe with the Madak people.  She works alongside two families and another single lady.  Their goal is to see the Madak people clearly understand the Gospel message and grow in their faith.  If you would like to hear more about the Madak work please join us at 6pm on April 11th.
