Dear Faith Family-
Many of you are out of town, enjoying those last few days of summer before school starts on Tuesday. Some of you are remaining in town, hoping to enjoy a peaceful and quiet holiday weekend without the hassles of traffic jams.
For those of you who are in town, remember that we’ll be observing the Lord’s Supper tomorrow. The theme of worship will be “FORGIVENESS”. If you’re in the area, I hope you’ll make a point to join us for this monthly observance.
Beginning the following Sunday, September 12, we’ll begin a new worship series called “Foundations of our Faith”. Having just concluded a series titled “Foundations of the New Testament Church” which dealt with significant characteristics which made the New Testament Church unique in the first century world, the upcoming series will address the foundations of our belief system as bible-believing Christians. We’ll be examining what scripture teaches about subjects such as the Bible, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, mankind, sin, salvation, end times, etc. I’ve enjoyed my preliminary study so far as I’ve re-examined those doctrines which are so foundational to our faith.
If you’re traveling over this holiday weekend, know that we’ll be praying for you. If you’re in town, I hope to see you tomorrow as we join together as a body of believers to pause and reflect on the meaning of the Lord’s Supper.
May God bless you wherever you are.
In His love,
